Terrible experience. Purchased an item on sale for an awesome price.

Printed off order confirmation invoice. Got an email from Opticsplanet that the item was mysteriously out of stock and now discontinued by manufacturer. Item was replaced by manufacturer with a new model, nearly 99% the same product, and I asked to have my purchased items replaced with the newer model that was in stock. Was told by Opticsplanet that I should buy a different item for the price I paid, but one that was nothing near the quality of the item I bought.

Even after BBB complaint and intervention, Opticsplanet refuses to honor the purchase made with the comparable replacement items of exact quality. Very disappointing sales practices.

Monetary Loss: $1500.
